Last Will and Testament
Mary Presson Drewry (d 1792)
York County, Va.

In the name of God Amen. I Mary Drewry now with my brother Nicolas Presson of Charles Parish in York County Virginia, being very sick and weak of body, but in perfect sound sence and reason do make and ordain this as my last will and testament of all my worldly goods and estate as follows:
Item I give to my brother Nicholas Presson, after my just debts and funeral charges are paid after my death my negro woman named Rachael with all her children, also my bed my iron pots, also my crop, of all sorts, also the hire of my woman named Hannah for the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety two to him and his heirs.
Item I give to my sister Elizabeth Cook of South Hampton County in Virginia, after my just debts and funeral charges are paid after my death my negro woman named Hannah with all her children also my body cloths to her and her heirs.
Item I do hereby appoint and ordain my brother Nicholas Presson whole and sole Executor of this my last will and testament. Given under my hand and seal this third day of October one thousand seven hundred and ninety two, before the following witnesses, John Hunter and Benjamin Presson.
