I, Nellie M. Drewry, of Boykins, Virginia, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all wills by me at any time heretofore made:
FIRST: I direct that all of my just debts be paid and that all property, income, inheritance and estate taxes, state and federal, be paid by my Executors out of my estate, with no assessment to be made against the interest of any beneficiary under this will.
SECOND: All the rest and residue of my estate of every kind and description, both real and personal, I give, devise and bequeath as follows:
a. All of my stock in Sovran Bank, N.A., to my seven grandchildren, John Herman Drewry, III, Patrick Dale Drewry, Dawn Drewry Nickerson, Samuel Blount Drewry, Jr., John Moore Drewry, Raymond Lowell Drummond, Jr., and Jill Drummond, in equal shares, share and share alike, per stirpes.
b. Any of my bank certificates of deposit and savings certificates to the alternate named beneficiary on same.
c. I hold various notes from my son, Samuel Blount Drewry, or from Boykins Fertilizer Company which is owned by him, and I hereby forgive these notes in full, including any accrued interest on same, and I direct my Executors to mark the same paid in full and deliver same to my said son, Samuel Blount Drewry, since I have in other ways equalized the division of my estate between my three children.
d. All the rest and residue of my estate to my three children, John H. Drewry, Jr., Nelle Drewry Drummond and Samuel Blount Drewry, in fee simple and absolutely and in equal shares, share and share alike, per stirpes.
FOURTH: I nominate and appoint my sons, John H. Drewry, Jr., and Samuel Blount Drewry, either or both of whom may serve, Executors of this my last will and testament, and I direct that no security be required of either of them as such.
