Latest Publishing Status: As of August 1, 2000: It seems that I owe all of you an apology for previously posting a publishing status and not living meeting the objectives outlined in that schedule. I do apologize for that. Of course there are (as always) excuses, most of them centered around having to make a living and working. It always seems as though when there is light at the end of the tunnel I publish a new schedule, and then the light just goes away. This past year has been no exception. With the exception of a short break last December and January I have been on the road constantly, and this will continue for the foreseeable future. Over the next six weeks I have three trips to the west coast, one to Arkansas and two to Valley Forge scheduled, and there is talk of my going to England, Germany and Australia in the near future. In addition to my work schedule Anne and I are expecting two of her cousins to visit from Russia for six months. As you can see, it's a busy time and there will be little time to work on the family history in the foreseeable future. So, for that reason, I am eliminating the schedule. I'll just have to take the time as it comes and keep you advised when the book is finally finished and ready to be published. I am sorry for the delay. There is no one who would like to see the book published more than myself. As usual, keep the information coming in. At least the delay is productive as I still continue to get hits on the web site and find additional family members. |

Interesting Tidbits: The more I work on the book, the more surprised I am by the little things that keep popping up one after another. For example:There are 1,429 surnames in the book. |
