so different from what we are accustomed to
and so very interesting to look at

Leaving
the Temple of the Emerald Buddha we returned to a part near the entrance
that was so crowded when we first arrived it was impossible to get
any clear shots. I'm not sure what the structure is called but, along
its base, are numerous brightly painted mystical figures. Taking their
pictures was worth the wait for the crowds to dissipate. |

I
could have spent the entire day here just taking pictures and admiring
the beauty of these wonderful creatures of the imagination. But, that
wasn't to be. It was getting hot in the bright Sun and there was much
